About Saajha

Saajha is working with government schools focusing on parental partnerships by enhancing the leadership capacity of parents and school management committees (SMCs) - a mandatory body in school, consisting of parents, teachers, principals, and community members. We are currently operating in 1,300 schools in Delhi, Karnataka, and Jharkhand and 100 schools around Hubli, Karnataka alone. We have recently commenced operations in Haryana and Maharashtra. Saajha has a two-fold vision that aims to improve learning outcomes for children in school: build leadership in school and communities to impact student learning outcomes in public schools and facilitate peer learning among SMCs by the formation of a peer engagement network.
